Question

Newlines in message cause truncation. How to fix?

Posted by KevinT — 21st of August 2015, 07:18 AM

I have a cut off phrase set ("CUT_OFF_PHRASE").
I am sending a plain text email with line breaks.
I can Tweet the message without truncation. It is exactly 140 characters.
Yet, TwitterMail truncates it.
How do I fix this?

My message is below:

Updt 8: STALLED VEHICLE
71 HWY NB @ TO BLUE RIVER RD
All lanes close. Left exit closed.
Starting at: 7/29 2:33 PM
Expected End: 7/29 2:58 PM

I have also tried sending the following with the same result:
Updt 0: SLAMMED VEHICLE
71 HWY NB @ TO BLUE RIVER RD
All lanes close. Left exit closed.
Starting at: 7/29 2:33 PM
Expected End: 7/29 2:58 PM
CUT_OFF_PHRASE

When I deleted off the last two last before CUT_OFF_PHRASE, I received everything including CUT_OFF_PHRASE.

What I need to do is send the first message without truncation.

Update:
This is an example of what is being sent (truncatated after "Starting At:"):
Updt 14: STALLED VEHICLE
71 HWY NB @ TO BLUE RIVER RD
Left exit closed. All lanes open.
Starting at:

I have same problem for about 2 months now, they say they working on it. I know a lot others with this problem who say they are going to cancel whatever pay service they have because it's useless to them if nobody can see their longer tweets. They are losing followers.
