Export stats

Posted by Campus France — 21st of January 2013, 04:18 AM

I subscribed do the Premium account last week hoping to get complete stats of my Twitter account and export them to Excel.

Thing is, everytime I ask TwitterCounter to export my stats, it automatically does it in text/csv format, not Excel.

Am I doing something wrong?

Hi there,

At the moment our export is in .csv so every user can open the file in Excel when they have Windows but also in Numbers for instance when they have an Apple computer.

When you save the file and open it from Excel, it should all be working. Let us know if it doesn't.

Best, Jorg

thanks for answering.
Fair enough, but some stats are missing (Date, Followers, Following, Tweets) for many months in 2012.

Hey guys,

When you sign up for a Pro Twitter Stats account we start recording your Pro Twitter data from that moment. Twitter Counter cannot display statistics for data that was not recorded. However, we try to get as much Pro Stats for your account from Twitter. Unfortunately, Twitter also has to deal with system availability. Which means in some cases we don't get all stats from your account from Twitter.

Good thing is that when it comes to evaluating your account, you can always look at the main trend per month. Even when there are gaps you usually should be able to create a report on a month to month basis.

Ok, you should be clearer about that on the details of your offer ("complete stats").

I honestly regret my subscription.

We mention that indeed - but that is regarding the export functionality. We will correct the sentence there to make it even more clear.

From the day you sign up for Pro, we will track you every day. Next to that we try to give you all the historical data we can find via the Twitter API. But as much as we like to give you all days of the whole year of 2012, we cannot do this when Twitter doesn't have the data to share.
