What is wrong with the RATIO STAT?

Posted by Kate Conroy — 16th of June 2011, 11:53 AM

Under the RATIO STAT it says "Try to have more people following you than you have followers."
My follow/following ratio is 540/837 but the stat is red and says I need to follow more people than I am following....but I am by about 300 already so why is it constantly RED (negative)?
I have refreshened, log-in/out and for months it hasn't changed but the stat is reading it right but not calculating it correctly. HELP?

Our algorithm states that the ratio should be around 5, meaning if you follow 200 people, you should have 1000 followers. Which would explain why you keep saying that box.

Our profile checker is our opinionated view of how a profile should be. What you do with those results is completely up to you. It seems to me like it's safe for you to ignore that stat, since you're satisfied with the ratio you currently have (and you should, it's excellent).
