Forwarding from Gmail doesn't seem to work

Hi. I wanted to forward particular emails that I receive to twittermail to have them posted as tweets. But for some reason twittermail only seems to accept direct emails (not forwarded ones). Do you guys block forwarded emails for some reason? Thanks
