Stats say +2 followers nearly every day for 6 months but that's not right

Hello!

My stats always say I get another 2 followers every day. Today for example, I got 8 email alerts from Twitter.com informing me of new followers. I assume Twittercounter is only giving me an average, because it doesn't make sense that the number of unfollows + follows I get daily always equals 2.

I'd like to know if there's anything I can do to get a more accurate graph. Thanks!

Hi Zoey,

Our records show that we have scattered data for your account (meaning, one record on the 1st, the next on the 10th). The graph automatically tries to correct this data by calculating differences, often resulting in linear graphs (like what you've spotted).

To get more accurate data on the graph I would advise to regularly update your account using the "Update stats now" button at the top of your profile.
