Why isn't the counter updating on my site?

I added the counter to my site http://googolsofgames.com a few days ago. I have gained followers since then. It shows up on my Twitter account and on the graphs here at TwitterCounter, but the number hasn't changed on the counter on my site.

Any ideas?

Could be a couple of things, namely caching. However, I see you're current followers count is 49 and the button on your site also displays 49. There doesn't seem to be anything wrong.
