OK you're now saying I lost all my followers when I haven't. What's up

You are saying in my stats that I lost over a thousand followers when that's not true. What's going on here?

Hi Gary, this is probably a bug with the Twitter API, where it returned the wrong data. I've updated your statistics and they're back to normal now. We're investigating why we got the wrong numbers.
