Email subject text being cut short on tweets

I am trying to update my twitter account by email however for some strange reason only part of the text in the subject heading is appearing. I want to send the message "you have an email from Checkin" but all that appears is "you have an email from".
what am I doing worng. Any suggestions welcomed.
