For the past few weeks we’ve been working on a really exciting project and today we are thrilled to share it with you! We’ve just launched the beta version of the Twitter Counter plugin for Chrome! This means that you can now check the stats of each of your tweets right on Twitter.
How to install it
It basically works as any other Chrome extension. All you need to do is download it here for free. This is the beta version, so we really need your feedback to improve the tool. For now it is available to Chrome users but the plan is to extend it for other browsers as well.
How does it work
Once you install it, you’ll notice that below your tweets appears an “Analyze” option. Keep in mind that this is available just for your account’s tweets and not for tweets coming from other users. Click on it and magic will happen!
Stats and recommendations for every tweet
Once you click on “Analyze” your tweet expands unveiling stats on your tweet’s performance. First you get a score for your tweet, based on a number of criteria such as the number of hashtags, links, images and so on. You can also check the length of your tweet and most importantly get recommendations right on the spot, on how to improve your Twitter performance. Isn’t this cool?
