A day before Charlie Sheen made his appearance on Twitter, we wrote a post about the battle over followers in which we noted that not even two years ago no one had over a million followers.

Come two years later and Charlie Sheen reached a million followers in only 25 hours and 17 minutes, setting a Guinness World Record. That’s the spirit of #winning as Charlie would tweet or maybe it’s due to having #tigerblood we don’t know. Although Sheen is still far away from the top 5 most popular users, #5 being @kimkardashian with 6.5 million followers and the Queen of Twitter being Lady Gaga with 8,5 million followers, he can be there real quick if he keep this rate.

How quick? Well we only have data for 3 days and his growth ratio obviously will slow down over time, but still we like to make a guesstimate . So, if he keeps running on this #winning #tigerblood streak, he will beat Lady Gaga in 36 days. As Sheen grows 202,422 a day more in followers and the difference between them is 7,2 million.
